A SIMPLE PATH INTO BRICKS
From a good start
to your next great site.
A complete kit gives you the pages and the design system. Your content, business details and final checks make it ready to publish.
Getting started
7 NOTES
01 / Prepare your site
Use a WordPress installation with your licensed Bricks theme activated. These kits use native Bricks elements and do not require WooCommerce, a design framework, or a paid template add-on.
02 / Import the ZIP
Download your chosen kit. In WordPress, open Bricks → Templates → Import and select the ZIP. The archive contains the full page inventory shown on the kit detail page, a shared header and footer, SETUP.md and LICENSE.txt.
03 / Make the pages
Create the pages shown on the kit detail page. Open each in Bricks and insert its matching saved template. Set the Home page as your static homepage in Settings → Reading.
04 / Connect the shared parts
Set the header and footer template conditions to the new site’s pages. On a clean dedicated installation, you can use Entire website. Use the included error template for the 404 page.
05 / Add the real business
Update the name, service area, contact details and service descriptions. Replace illustrative photographs and project placeholders with approved material. Edit repeated styles through the kit’s native global classes.
06 / Configure the enquiry form
Open the native contact form and set the recipient address, sender address and thank-you redirect. The default recipient is the WordPress Administration Email Address; set and verify it under Settings → General. Test a successful enquiry and a failed submission with the site’s real mail setup.
07 / Check and publish
Review the full site at phone, tablet and desktop widths. Test the mobile menu, keyboard navigation, internal links, form messages and 404 page. Keep only the pages and plugins the business needs.
